Wilton Wednesday Networking Event 13 June

Our next Wilton Wednesday Networking Event takes place at Midday on 13 June in our Exhibition Area with two presentations:

1. The Business Value Builder 25 minutes

Simon Grant & Graham Robson, The Business Doctors network

The Business Value Builder will help find out how ‘Scalable’ your business is – whether your objective is to liberate your time, reinvest in a new venture or release resources.  Business Doctors, Simon and Graham, will take you through eight key areas that will help you review and improve the performance and value of your business.

Attendees can optionally complete a confidential on-line Business Value Builder Score Questionnaire (via this link ) before the seminar. They will receive a dashboard at the seminar giving their score in each of the eight key areas. This can be followed up with a detailed customised report based on the eight factors that drive value along with suggestions for improving your score.

2. Sustainable Chemistry, Functional Materials and Smart Synthesis at The Universities of Edinburgh and St Andrews(EaStCHEM)  20 minutes

Stuart Duncan, Business Development Executive, Edinburgh Innovations

The Universities of Edinburgh and St Andrews have formed EaStCHEM, the leading Chemistry research school in Scotland, and the largest in the UK.  EaStCHEM combines Scotland’s two top research schools for chemistry and is recognised for excellence in both core and interdisciplinary chemistry. EaStCHEM ranks second in the “Power Table” (out of 35), with Oxford’s Chemistry department narrowly taking the top spot, albeit with a slightly larger research School. EaStCHEM is ranked above Cambridge’s Chemistry department (3rd), University College London (5th) and Imperial College London (7th) in the Power Table.

Stuart will review the EaStCHEM research areas that are of the greatest relevance to the community at the Wilton Centre.

Everyone is welcome and please feel free to invite any colleagues or associates that you feel may benefit from attending. If you are planning to attend please RSVP to:  to reserve a place and estimate numbers for catering.
