Reminder: Main Reception Visitors, E1 Visitor/Contractor Access & Goods Deliveries to Wilton Centre Area

Please ensure that all visitors/contractors to the Wilton Centre Area are booked in at either Main Reception or E1 Contractor Reception.
All deliveries should be booked in at E1 Contractor Reception.
All office based visitors should be booked in at Main Reception.
Maintenance contractors should be boked in at E1 Contractor Reception – entry is via the Wilton Site Visitor Induction Centre and the south east gate.
Deliveries of furniture, photocopiers, equipment, etc. must be booked in at E1 Contractor Reception and directed onto the site via the Wilton Site Visitor Induction Centre and the south east gate. This is extremely important as deliveries often arrive without a contact name or telephone no. causing delays to everyone concerned. Courier delivery vehicles to the Post Room must use the Wilton Site Visitor Induction Centre and enter via the south-east gate.

The result of not booking visitors/deliveries in causes delays, not only to the visitor concerned, but to those in the resulting queue whose hosts have taken the time to notify Reception/E1 Contractor Reception. See procedure WC/GEN/7010. Please help us to help you and your visitors.
Wilton Site Car Passes

Please be aware that if you need to replace your Wilton Site vehicle pass you will be required to complete the appropriate form and collect the pass from the Visitor Induction Centre. They will no longer put them in the post. Forms for renewing your vehicle pass can be obtained from either E122 or Main Reception.
Road Safety Issue – Incubator Area

Please note that the road speed limit has been reduced from 20mph to 10mph on the section of road outside of the main entrance to the new Incubator facility on the south side of the TS Hall.
This speed limit applies from a location before the Incubator entrance and it extends to a vehicle restricted area at R-Block entrance where there is a high volume of pedestrian movement at peak traffic times. The section of road from the t-junction through to the rear of Catering remains at 20mph.
In addition, a ‘zebra crossing’ will be installed close to the t-junction at the Incubator entrance allowing pedestrian’s access from the car parks.
The appropriate road speed limit and pedestrian warning signs are in place.
Wilton Centre Instructions & Procedures

During the rationalisation of the Wilton Centre Instructions & Procedures in 2009, Wilton Centre Facilities Management (WCFM) deleted a number of procedures which until now, tenants have been able to access although they have not been maintained. After 12 months, these instructions have now been removed from the database altogether.
Fire Risk Assessments

Your employers are responsible for producing a Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) for your workplace and the activities that take place there. A copy of this assessment is held by WCFM as the Landlord of the premises. As an employee, you should be aware of the contents of the company FRA. WCFM were audited by a third party and a number of tenant representatives were unaware of their company FRA.

Hire Cars

REMINDER: Main Reception must be informed in advance of delivery of hire cars to the Wilton Centre Area. Hire cars will only be accepted in the car park if the intended hirer has been satisfactorily identified in writing and in advance to Reception by a Wilton Centre resident. Hire vehicles that have not been identified in advance will be refused access.
