The Wilton Centre’s most scented occupier, Givaudan, is inviting new panel members to join its battle to keep everyone smelling fresh.

This international company fragrances life through the creation of perfume for personal and homecare products, as well as for prestige brands worldwide.

In some products fragrance is much more than a pretty smell – it is part of the science behind the way that a product delivers “what it says on the can”. At The Wilton Centre, Givaudan operates a unique deodorant testing panel and needs men and women to participate in important product trials to evaluate deodorancy performance of products against underarm odour.

The deo panel has been established for over a decade and plays an integral role in the success of fragrance in many leading brands. From Teesside, the vital panel results help perfumers keep the world fresh by creating perfume that not only smells great but also has the additional benefit of combating body odour effectively.

Rewards are on offer to those participating in the trials. Not only will panel members have the chance to be part of the drive to help millions of people all over the world to stay fresh and dry every day, but they will also receive free soap and deodorant as well as high street gift vouchers. Male panellists can also enjoy a freshly laundered shirt provided every day.

The deo testing panel has a number of members who have been there since the very start. Alan Patterson from Cordell is one who is as enthusiastic now as he was when he first decided to join up.

He commented: “Any initial reservations were quickly dispelled by the welcoming and friendly ladies of the assessment team, whose sense of humour and good natured-ness is now an essential part of the start of a working day.”

Another member of the panel, Ian Marshall from TechConsult, added: “I have attended the Givaudan panel for over a year now and not only am I treated professionally by the fantastic team there, but I have been made to feel part of this revolutionary and exciting project and can recommend this to any people thinking about taking part.”

The Swiss company has over 180 years’ experience in creating the world’s most memorable fragrances and, with a global turnover of CHF 4 billion, has established its very ambitious business objective of being the market leader in the fragrance and avour industry.

Anyone interested in joining the Givaudan Deodorant testing panel can contact Lynn Almond/Michelle Russell on 459382/456937 or email lynn.almond@givaudan.com or michelle.russell@givaudan.com
