Viv Dale, of WCFM, was one of the Centre people taking part in the Race for Life on June 20 at Ormesby Hall, Middlesbrough to raise money for cancer research.

She successfully completed the course, along with her sister Joanne Glenton, niece 11-year-old Eleanor and Wilton Centre Access Control Co-ordinator Ann Sherwood. Between them they raised £315.

For Viv and Ann, it was the 8th time they have taken part in the event.

“I love it. It is such a good atmosphere,” said Viv. “A big thank you as always to those generous people who continue to put their hands in their pocket and support us!”
