Fleet Success for Trevor

An executive private hire firm has tripled in size since opening for business at The Wilton Centre near Redcar.
In just two years, demand for the services of Auto Executive Ltd has necessitated an increase in staff from five to 16 and the purchase of more top of the range vehicles, taking the fleet to 14 in total and making it the largest executive hire firm in the area.
Director Trevor Hill has expanded his head office within the science park, giving him three times the space of the one he had originally taken back in 2009.
“Our success has been due to a consistent, reliable service and we hope to keep this reputation for many years to come,” he said.
Vehicles in Auto Executive’s fleet include Jaguars (X-type, S-type and XJ), a Chrysler Grand Voyager Executive and a Lexus.
“The difference between us and other private hire companies is that we have an executive exemption which allows us to run our cars without any advertisements or contact numbers on the side of the cars. This gives our clients a more professional and discrete service that reflects on their own business” explained Trevor.
“We also have a dedicated driver for each transfer booked which guarantees that a car will pick up the client whatever time they request – be it 4am for an early morning business flight or 7pm for an evening dinner.”
The 24-hour security at The Wilton Centre and easy access to major road networks and a good potential client base (a high percentage of their transfers are to and from the centre) were three of the reasons that Trevor chose the science park as his headquarters. But, he says, it has many additional bonuses that he hadn’t originally appreciated.
“It offers many services and facilities that are beneficial to a growing business such as a professionally manned reception, meeting rooms and a restaurant,” said Trevor.
“These additional facilities have enabled us to become the first executive corporate travel company to have all its drivers participating in an NVQ course in Passenger Transport Safety.”
Steve Duffield, The Wilton Centre’s Accommodation Manager, said it was always satisfying to see small and medium sized companies grow in their time at the Centre.
“We are delighted that Auto Executive has chosen to expand its operations at The Wilton Centre. It demonstrates that the services and facilities provided here are definitely fulfilling our tenants’ needs,” Steve added.
