Investigations Company Detects Business Growth

Good old-fashioned detective work is paying dividends for one of the newest tenants at The Wilton Centre.
Business is booming for a leading North East Corporate & Private investigation service, Tees Valley Investigations (TVI), which offers a professional investigation service for businesses and private individuals.
Such has been the demand for its services that TVI has relocated into larger premises and its Head Office is now based at The Wilton Centre just outside Middlesbrough, with a further regional office situated on Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough.
TVI offers a range of specialist support for corporate clients including helping companies to tackle some of the more difficult problems that may occur in corporate life.
One of the biggest areas currently involves fraudulent personal injury claims.
Managing Director, Abdul Shakeel a former officer with Cleveland Police, explains that TVI supports companies by investigating the integrity of claims against them.
He said: “Fraudulent claims against employers can have a devastating impact on an organisation’s ability to function as it invariably involves long-term absence, affects morale and can impact on other employees if working practices have to be altered, not to mention the financial impact on the company involved.
“We live in an increasingly litigious society so these so-called slips, trips and falls accidents can also affect organisations that are subjected to suspected fraudulent personal injury claims by members of the public or clients when in or on premises they own or control,” Abdul added
TVI’s corporate work also includes helping companies to investigate other allegations concerning their staff associated with long-term absence and misconduct matters.
Explains Abdul: “TVI adopts a long term, strategic view to its client relationships rather than taking the more prevalent approach within the surveillance industry of charging for every associated cost.
“The team works solidly towards claims resolution and adds genuine value by delivering high quality output in the format required by its clients. We believe in being an innovative, resourceful and reliable supplier of surveillance and investigations services and our products are supported by high quality reporting, in-depth knowledge and strong operational skills.”
Another area where TVI has experienced a big demand for its services is investigations into matrimonial and relationship issues.
Abdul added “TVI is genuinely prepared to go the extra mile and can be trusted to keep the client fully updated at all times and to get the job done to a very high standard at an agreed fixed fee”
He continued: “This also applies to the various types of litigation work we undertake on behalf of solicitors in the North East which is another service area where we have seen a growth in demand.”
Dave Willis, Wilton Centre Manager, said that it was good to be able to welcome a thriving company like TVI to the complex.
“Abdul’s business is expanding at what is a challenging time for many other businesses and we wish him all the very best with success in the future,” he said.
