DuPont Teijin Films has won another Award for the development of PET and PEN polyester films in the flexible electronics market.
DTF won the Flexi Award for Substrate Developments in Flexible Displays Market, announced by the FlexTech Alliance at the 8th annual Flexible Electronics & Displays Conference and Exhibition, held in Phoenix, Arizona, in early February.
In the R&D category, DuPont Teijin Films won the FLEXI award (accepted by Keith Rollins and Bob Rustin) for development of PET and PEN polyester films, now in use by numerous manufacturers of flexible displays and other emerging products.
Michael Ciesinski, FlexTech’s CEO, in presenting the R&D award, said: “Advancements in substrate technology are fundamental to establishing a flexible and printed electronics industry and DuPont Teijin Films has excelled in this area.”
Keith Rollins, Global Plastic Electronics Business Development Manager for DTF, said: “DuPont Teijin Films is delighted to have received the inaugural Flexi Award in the R&D category.”
