Blood pressure checks

With 16 million adults in the UK suffering from high blood pressure, but five million not knowing it, monitoring its prevalence in the populace is crucial.
The Wilton Centre helped with that process by staging an event during which residents could have their blood pressure checked. The day was staged as part of a wider week-long NHS event.
One hundred and eighty five people had their blood pressure checked, most of whom had not had a check before, others of whom had not had it done for years.
